Dr. Karen Haberberger is an experienced educator with a focus on special education, educational leadership, and administration. She has worked in various school districts in Pennsylvania and Mississippi for the past 33 years. In 2022, she earned her Doctor of Education degree from Drexel University’s School of Education, concentrating on Educational Leadership and Administration.
Throughout her career, Dr. Haberberger has held several positions in the education field, including special education teacher, assistant principal, supervisor of special education, and currently as a superintendent of schools. She has a passion for education and is a lifelong learner.
Aside from her work in education, Dr. Haberberger is also a certified yoga instructor through “Breathe For Change” and instructs yoga classes within her school district and community. Additionally, she serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for McKean County, serving as a voice for children in the foster care system.
Overall, Dr. Karen Haberberger is an accomplished educator and community advocate dedicated to improving children's lives in and out of the classroom.
